Dataset Description

The Audio Event Recognition PoC demonstrates the use of microphone sensor to detect popcorn popping in real-time.The edge device (i.e: QuickLogic Merced Board device) is placed on top of the microwave. The data is collected from microphone sensors (sample rate is 16kHz) and formatted using the Data Capture Lab.This PoC describes How to create a model by using “Cascade Windowing” for audio data. Cascade windowing is a particular case of ensemble learning based on the concatenation of several sub segments (cascade). By using all the information collected from each cascade, a model can be created for longer time frames.For more detail is given here
